C2 is a medical grade software development framework. It exposes the internal workings of embedded devices and provides interconnectivity, empowering engineering teams to reach their productivity potential. It is designed specifically for medical device+mobile+cloud development.
The framework was developed in compliance with IEC 62304. It could be integrated easily into any ISO13485 and FDA compliant quality management system.
C2 Framework in your medical device opens up a world of possibilities. The framework contain three major components: C2d, the device side framework, C2m, mobile side framework and the C2s, the server side framework.

Device Side Framework
C2d is a pre-validated firmware framework. Embedding C2d in your device means your engineers and scientists can use it, without installation of software, seat licenses, or version tracking. They can experiment, and collect data long before the user application has been created, and without the assistance of a software engineer.
C2d is a ANSI C firmware codebase. It lets you access every internal driver, control and property. Built for MSP430 and Cortex M3 processors, it is adaptable to other MCUs.

Mobile Side Framework
C2m framework is written in native programming languages. You can develop medical grade mobile apps and deploy to both Android and iOS with maximum freedom to maintain the native look of each.
C2m enables you to quickly build your app, and connect to your medical device via Bluetooth Classic (SPP), Bluetooth Low Energy (GATT profile) or Wi-Fi. It will also allow your app to communicate with C2s IoT Cloud in real time.

Server Side Framework
Our MQTT based C2s Cloud makes your C2 enabled medical device accessible and allow your customers to keep track of the usage, and data directly from your C2 enabled devices.
The communication coming in and out of C2s Cloud will be encrypted by SSL. C2s enable you to develop cloud services for remote applications such as data storage, service or diagnostics.
